 Such a lovely idea. Imps & Elfs presented their spring summer 2012 look book online. The lookbook is divided up into to three groups; I sleep, I walk and I talk. This is related to the age groups Imps & Elfs caters to. Great idea and beautiful execution. The collection is as expected; basic with a twist, nice prints and of high quality.

I paid a visit to one of my favourite shops in Amsterdam yesterday, Friday Next. It is an interior design store that sells beautiful furniture and accessories. I came across the pillows of Marika Giacinti. They are too cute and would fit perfectly in a children's room. It only is the first collection of designer Marike Giancinti. talc, spring summer 2012

I wrote about the French brand TALC about a month ago. TALC is a brand that is worth mentioning more than once and especially because they just presented the spring summer 2012 collection. I love their simple and sober clothing with a twist. Luckily the hoods with ears are also present in this collection, they are my favourites. Take a look at the website for the total collection.

home of dots

It all started out as a blank canvas, that turned into a home of dots. In the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane children were invited to collaborate on this art piece. They were given thousands of colored dots to decorate the art-space. Just imagine how a child would feel in the first portrayed living room compared to the second one. Such a great idea!

You are very lucky if you live in Brisbane. You can visit 'the obliteration room' until 11 March 2012. How great would it be to have this in Amsterdam!

in love with a cloudy day

It is a cloudy day in the Netherlands with lots of wind and rain. If it would look anything like these beautiful clouds it would make my day. These colored clouds fit perfectly above a child's bed. The matchbox mouses are also too cute. I came across these beauties on Etsy a little while ago. They are made by Atelier Pompadour.

Numero 74 is a French online shop. They sell lovely vintage furniture and toys for children. Numero 74 also sells handmade products as blankets and cushions. I love the basic photography and decor used on the website.
